Nawal Rai Bachchani
Famous politician, Ayurveda Practitioner, Famous Sindhi Writer and social worker Shri Nawal Rai was born as the son of Shri Sevakram Bachchani on 25 July 1927 at Madi Taluka of Nawabshah District of Sindh. After passing Matric he joined railway and served till 1961, meanwhile he passed six years Vaidyacharya course from Akhil Bhartiya Ayrveda Vidyapeth Delhi and started practicing.
As he has was member of RSS since 1941 so during emergency he was detained under MISA for 18 months. He enjoyed post of Ajmer City BJP President thrice and was MLA during 1977-1980. Nawal Rai is also associated with Bhartiya Sindhu Sabha and Rajasthan Sindhi Academy. As writer his most significant contribution for Sindhi community is the biography of Sindhupati Maharaja Dahersen.
Dr Kamla Goklani
Dr. Kamla Goklani [B.D. 16-06-1950] is a popular face among the Sindhi community of Ajmer. M.A. Ph.D. and P.G. Diploma in Journalism holder Dr. Kamla, is Ex. Deputy Director of Sindhu Shodh Peeth, , MDS University, Ajmer. Her reaserch paper “Sindh Mazi, hall ani Mustakbool” is included in the book “Sindhi Education in India”.
Dr Kamla has attended more than 150 National Seminars. Rajasthan Sindhi Academy has honored her for being only Sindhi women with Ph.D. in Sindhi, Subject of her thesis for Doctorate: Sindhi Shayaree Mein Kudrat Jo Chittr (Potrait of Nature in Sindhi Poetry). Besides that NCPLS, Delhi Sindhi Akademi and some other literary and social institutions has also felicitated her during various functions. He is recipient of Saami Samaan awarded by Rajasthan Sindhi Academy in 2003. Number of books written by her is close to fifty including Audio CD’s of 4 books prescribed in UPSC for I.A.S. course.
Knwal Prakash Kishnani
Born on 13 January 1967 at Bhopal as the son of Menghibai & Tulsidas Kishnani, Kanwal Prakash is the most renowned Sindhi social worker, Industrialist and politician of Ajmer city. Dreamer Kanwal Prakash has visualised dream of Swami Complex, a most beautiful market place in city heart. He has nourished his press reporting skills with start of Swami New Channel in 2003.
Business life of Kanwal Prakash was started in 1990 with Gangore Fast Food which was expanded to Sweat Dream Garden Restaurant  on Jaipur Highway. Political he is active with BJP and was Jila Prchar Mantri from 2010 to 2014. Before initiating The National Society of Indian Lions in 2000 he was actively involved and worked at various posts in Lions Club.
He is also associated with Sindhu Jagruti Manch, Sindhi Central Panchayat, Jhulelal Mela Samiti, Yuva Sindhi Mahasamiti and many other social and religious organisations of Sindhi Samaj.
Dr Lal Thadani
Ajmer citizen Dr Lal Thadani is well known Sindhi personality of the city. He has acquired degrees of M.B.B.S. and M.D. from J N Medical College Ajmer. He has fame of desire for working for the social cause. He is active with various social organizations of Ajmer.
Dr Lal Thadani is also active with politics and at the time when there was congress government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gahlot, has worked as President [2000-2003] of Rajasthan Sindhi Sahitya Academy. He is working editor of Shahid Hemu Kalani [Fortnightly] paper and has wrote a few plays like “Tootati Rekhayen” and “Moonfali Ka Chhilaka” which are also presented on the stage. He has bagged a few awards including 2002’s Mother Teresa Award.
