Shri Gurmukhdas Jamunadas Kartari
Born as the Son of Shri Jamunadas Kartari on 14 October 1950 at Katni Madhya Pradesh, Shri Gurmukhdas is native of Arvi since 1951. Even during the school days he was more attentive towards the taking care of Darbar Sahib established by father. After having education up to second year of B.A. he joined father's cloth business but soon dedicated himself in the service of Darbar. Varasi utsav [15 Feb] and Gurunanak Jayanti are the two important celebrations of Darbar.
Sindhi Panchayat Arvi
There is no Sindhi Panchayat at Arvi. Office bearers and Trustees of Shri Gurunanak Sindhi Sarvjanik Dharam Shala are working as the Panchayat by taking care of all the social activities and problems of Sindhi people living at Arvi.
Sindhi Dharamshala Arvi
Sindhi Samaj of Arvi has constructed Shri Gurunanak Sindhi Dharam Shala which is managed by a trust. This Dharam Shala is used for wedding and other local social events but there is no facility for tourist stay. Details about Office Bearers and Trustees of this trust are give below :
Shri Gurunanak Sndhi Sarvjanik Dharamshala Trust is working since the 1972 where as the Dharamshala building was constructed in mid eighty's according to Treasurer Shri Rupchand Chainani, Sindhis of Kolhapur and Ulhasnagar have donated very generously for construction.
