About Belgaum / Belagavi
Belgaum or the Belagavi is associated with training centers for the Indian Armed Forces, along with an air force station of the Indian Air Force. The city is among the major milk producers of the state and famous as "Sugar Bowl of Karnataka", There is decade old border dispute between the Maharashtra and Karnataka regarding this city. Majority of Sindhi people living here are shifted from Kolhapur and other cities during last 3-4 decades. Most of Sindhi are involved with Cloth, Ready made Garments, Footwear and confectionery trading business.

Sindhi Dharamshala Belgaum / Belagavi
There is no Sndhi Dharamshala at Belgaum however Sindhis of Belgaum have constructed a building Sanskrutik Bhavan which is used for marriage and other community functions.
At Present there is no facility for stay of Sindhi visiting Belgaum but during the discussion with officials of Sindhi Panchayat we came to know that in near future they are going to construct about 12 rooms at third floor of Sanskrutik Bhavan which will be used for tourist stay purpose also.
