m_kamalAcademy Award winner Mulchand Mangharam Bindrani who is more popular with his pen name "M Kamal" is renowned Sindhi poet specially for Sindhi Gazal and also have fame of Dramatist as his edited book "Behtareen Sindhi Natak" is still liked by the readers.  Born on 8 August 1925 in Nawab Shah District Sindh, M Kamal migrated to India in 1949 and settled at Ulhasnagar near Mumbai.

Moderately educated [Inter Science] M Kamal joined the Indian Railway in 1951 and served central railways [commercial branch] till his retirement. His first poem was published in 1953 this was legentry literary personality Late Shri Lekhraj Aziz from whom he learned the lessons about the Sindhi poetry. After the retirement in 1983 he started "Mahran Kala Manch" a school of Drama in 1984. M Kamal has enriched the Sindhi literature with his more than 650 Sindhi Gazals and quite good number of One Act Plays. He always tried to connect his writing with day to day life and often get success in it.  Beside the Academy Award from Sindhi Sahitya Academy in 1989for his Gazal Collection "Bahi Ja Waris", he is also recipient of Gaurav Puraskar [1990] given by Maharashtra Government.
