Nagpur born [20 November 1962] Rajkumar Hirani is just one illustration of this new growing trend of Sindhi people.
Nagpur is in the Maharashtra and regional language is Marathi but being part of central provision and in the close touch of Hindi speaking Madhya Pradesh, Nagpur has a great tradition of Hindi theater. Young Raju Hirani found attraction for this and becoming active with Hindi theater during his student days. After completing his graduation at Nagpur Rajkumar headed to Pune for the Film & Television Institute of India, from where he completed his Diploma in cinema with specialization in editing in the year 1987.
Early days at Mumbai were the learning process for the Rajkumar Hirani but soon he succeeded in establishing self as a director and producer of advertising films, though he started his carrier as editor. Getting his actors to give off their best and drawing out just that extra from them which goes straight to the audience's heart is what he really enjoys.

Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu vinod Chopara went on to give such another character to Hindi Films, on screen performed by "Sanjay Datt" bole to "Munna Bhai" in their Film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and its sequel "Munna Bhai Lage Raho".
