It was started as Shopping Center – Tata & Bata [from textile to shoes every thing] but after 1980’s people started to have residence here at present population of Bhilai city is over One Lakh. In the recent times, Bhilai is developing as the twin city with Durg situated at distance of just 10-12 K.M. Like the other cities here also Sindhi are dominating market or the business of the city.
