When we say folk art, it means the exhibition of popular forms of artistic choice of a community. Often the cultural heritage of a community get exhibition through the folk art. If we study the behavior of artists, we find that folk artists are concentrating popular form of art, or in simple words one which is liked by majority population of the community while the traditional artists seem to be concentrating more on perfect presentation.
Since the centuries Sindhi community have very rich, clear and more distinct cultural heritage so we can see a true variety in Sindhi folk. This might be the expression of creative art in the form of traditional Hatadi Pooja on Diwali or the Sindhi folk dance Chhej, a group of people dancing rhythmically in tandem to express and enjoy the moment through dance.

Bhagat Kanwar ram are said to be master and instrumental for popularizing this Sindhi folk art Bhagat. In India Prof. Ram Panjwani presented and exhibited this Sindhi folk art Bhagat, almost at every city and village of country which has Sindhi population. Prof. Ram Panjwani also have the credit of using Mataki (earthen pot) as an instrument during his sessions of Bhagat.
If you look at the celebration style, festivals and even the social gatherings an affect of Sindhi folk is visible everywhere.  Sindhi Lada, is yet another Sindhi folk related with marriage rituals and Singing. Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti Navani was considered as the queen of Sindhi Lada, even today in sindhi family marriage ceremony is not completed with play back of olden Sindhi Lada sung a few decades ago by Bhagwanti or some one presenting Sindhi Lada with modern music tunes.
