Over the years The Sindhu World Dot Com, one among the most popular Sindhi Website has developed as one of the biggest online sources for the biographies of famous and eminent personalities of Sindhi Samaj. Starting from Sindhi Saints, the section is inclusive of Biographies of famous and popular Sindhi authors, Sindhi poets, Sindhi politicians, Sindhis from their nontraditional field performing arts, Stars, actor- actresses, Director & Producers from the Bollywood, Film & Television Industry and even achievers from fashion industry, sports & Music. Etc.
We at The Sindhu World hold very strong point of the view that biographies are not just a document describing life journeys but eventually a biography is reflecting complete socio economic and cultural life style of a community in a specific time spawn. Most of the times biography of an eminent personality proves a very good guiding teacher and very rich source of inspiration for the younger generations.
We are not denying that our prime emphasis was on and will remain same on Indian Hindu Sindhi. We believe that, this is real huge success for the community forced to migrate empty handed and resettled on the land with very poor socio-cultural roots. Today in India, most of prominent financers of Bollywood, Hindi Film & Television industry of India, are Sindhi, majority of brokers at stock exchange are Sindhis and a lot of Sindhi youth is holding key position in the entertainment and performing art industry. We salute all these successful Sindhi.
2021 Change
While redesigning the website after a gap of five years, considering the huge and growing number of biographies we thought of restricting the sections so more justified and ease of finding become more practical. Now Under the Sindhi Personalities there will be a main section called Biographies, along with two other sections Sindhi Saints and Padma Awardee Sindhi. Like the previous version Sindhi personalities from the Sindhi literature will be placed in two categories (1) Sahitya Akademi Winners (2) Sindhi Sahitya Kar.
This is truly remarkable achievement that The Sindhu World Dot Com have biographies of all 53 Sindhi personalities of Sindhi literature, till 2020, felicitated with Sahitya Akademy Award, the highest literary award of the country. I believe this division will help users to find information about desired Sindhi Personality.
We are introducing a new section Synopsis for Sindhi personalities about whom we don’t have enough information for including them to biography section.
To provide identification and allowing Global Sindhi community to learn about the unsung Sindhi hero’s  who during the struggle period of migrated Sindhi community by raising self above the self and worked for the help and guide to local Sindhi community on their city level we are introducing a new heading Iconic Sindhi Personalities, this will be included with City Page in Sindhi Population section. Here you will find introduction of such unsung Sindhi Hero on concerned city page.
We have tried our level best to make this section more user friendly and informative but still feels that your suggestion might prove valuable help. Similarly, if you find someone, we miss to include do write to us.
