Among the Indian state Maharashtra is one where Sindhi population is highest among all the states. At Present we have information about Sindhi population from 77 city / village of Maharashtra, which indicates that this is quite possible that number of Sindhi families living in Maharashtra will reach to number higher than Two Lakh Fifty thousand but Sindhi population of Maharashtra will not cross Seventeen Lakh mark for sure.
