Gujurat Sindhi Population

Counting of number of Sindhi families living in Gujarat state will surely stop well ahead of Two Lakh. As per our reports from various sectors of Sindhi community of Gujarat, the number of Sindhi families living in the state is not more than One lakh Sixty five thousand. We can say that Sindhi Population of Gujarat is about 1.25% to 1.5% of total population of state and will not go beyond Twelve Lakh.
We have information about Sindhi population for fallowing cities of Gujarat listed below in alphabetical order of city names. More cities will be added on availability of information. Ahmedabad is city with highest Sindhi population which is more than three lakh where as Sindhi population of Adipur – Gandhidham is in vicinity of two lakh, Surat and Vadodara other two cities having  Sindhi population more than  One Lakh twenty five thousand.
There are few other cities each with more than Ten thousand Sindhi population but at Majority of remaining cities Sindhi population of a city varies from One thousand to two thousand only and there is quite good number of areas of state where Sindhi population is few hundred only.
