Justice Israni was among the selective class of Sindhi, who even after being highly educated have desire and dedication for contributing towards the empowerment of Sindhi community in the fields like Social, Cultural and literary heritage. His love for promotion of Sindhi language in India is beyond any comparisons. Justice Israni proved very great and timely helped for migrant Sindhi of Jaipur and Rajasthan for resettlement of land claims in the initial years of post-partition era when entire Sindhi community was struggling for survival.
About Justice Indersen Israni
Indersen Israni or more popular as Justice Israni is the glittering illustration of Sindhi wisdom. Born on 16 April 1931 in the family of freedom fighter Seerumal Israni who also worked as Deputy Speaker of Sindh Legislative Assembly, Indersen went on be a Lawyer and helped the migrated Sindhi for claim settlements. He has worked as Judge of Rajasthan High Court from 13 July 1985 to 15 April 1993.
He was truly dedicated towards the preservation and promotion rich Sindhi heritage. He founded All India Sindhu Cultural Society – An organisation aimed and working for promotion of Sindhi Language, Sindhi Literature and rich cultural heritage of Sindhi community and worked as Chairman.
He also worked as Chairman Rajasthan Sindhi Akademi 1-1-1982 to 31-12-1984, besides that he was also associated with Sindhi Council of India, NCPSL (National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language), HRD, Government of India and many other Sindhi organisation. He died on 28 May 2020 due to heart attack at Jaipur.
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
