Late Rajkumari Bajaj is the symbol of courage and determination of Sindhi woman. When after migrating to India, she saw the struggle of Sindhi families and realised suffering & pains of Sindhi woman for maintaining day to day needs at home. She thought of do some thing truly helpful for Sindhi woman. She was working as Principal of Maharani Laxmibai Girls school (1959-2007)so it was not an easy job to find time from educational activities. She has done bi directional program of women empowerment on the one side they should earn by doing something at home and second they should get education and acquire skills. She founded Parmanand Panjwani Sewa Santhan for this purpose.
Not only the Kanpur Sindhi community but every Sindhi feels proud of her remarkable contribution for empowerment of Sindhi woman. She has also worked as editor of Samadha Ashram Patrika – Anand Smirti Granth and Ritambhara Patrika.
