Introductory
Ravi Prakash Tekchandani, son of Late Dr. Karmveer Tekchandani & Sita Devi Tekchandani, is representation of modern Sindhi Youth, born in India after the partition of country in 1947. In the post partition era especially Sindhis born in India after 1970 are indicating emergence of new trend, new vision towards the education within the business-oriented Sindhi community. Young Sindhi boys and girls are appearing under the tempting influence of higher education. Still this fact that a considerable higher chunk of Sindhi youth, even after getting higher and professional education prefer to have life boat of family business but those who opt a profession related with their education aften get success for reaching top positions. One such successful Sindhi personality is Dr. Ravi Prakash Tekchandani, presently (2023) working as Director, National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language, Ministry of Education, government of India.

Ravi Prakash Tekchandani: Professional Information
Ravi Prakash having good command and authority on many languages, like Sindhi, Hindi and English has shown his capacity of working successfully in many fields. He started life as a professor and subsequently went on to work at administrative post. Tekchandani has worked as Director (a Head of the organization) in Central Hindi Directorate, besides presently (2023) being Director, National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL). As a Guide Ravi Prakash has helped many students for their studies for Post Doctorial, Ph.D. or M.Phil. He has credit of being member of more than twenty Academic Bodies and Societies including U.P. Sindhi Academy and NCPSL.
In the last two decades (2000 -2020) at least on twenty-five occasions, Ravi Prakash Tekchandani has worked as Editor/Sub-Editor/Guest Editor/Expert/Chairman of Literary Journals. As a research scholar he has presented many research papers and completed many research projects. Some of his research projects ae Sindhi Proverbs: A Linguistic Socio-Cultural Study and Sindhi Folk Culture and Folk Literature in India: A Study.
Literary Contribution
Dr Ravi Prakash Tekchandani, has contributed almost in each and every genre of literature by virtu of his original books and translation. Till 2020 he has credit of five published original books. His last published book (2018) is Saryu Se Sindhu. He has translated more than 12 books of some of the great contributors to Sindhi literature including, Ajho (Novel) by Hari Motwani, Bandhan (Stories) by Sundari Uttamchandani, Choithram Gidwani (Biography) by Vishnu Sharma and Sahitya Akademi Award (for Sindhi language) winner book Sheeshe Ja Ghar written by Goverdhan Mehboobani Bharti.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
