Introductory
Like legendry trio of Sindhi literature Sachal, Saami and Shah, literary horizon of Jaipur Rajasthan also have three pole stars Sunder Agnani, Lachman Bhambhani and Vasdev Sindhu Bharati. These are pioneers who started movement of preservation ancient literary tradition and propagation of Sindhi Literature at Jaipur Rajasthan. Though everyone has own genre of perfection but still the combine present of trio have not only boosted creation of Sindhi literature but also contributed towards the popularization of Sindhi language and literature in Rajasthan. Sunder Agnani beside being famous for his writing is also renowned for his administrative skills.
Biography /About - Sunder Agnani
Born on 01 October 1936 in the Nawab shah district of Sindh and presently settled at Pink city Jaipur Rajasthan, Sunder Agnani a well-known name from the Sindhi literature arena, is actually expression of multidimensional talent and excellence of work. Everyone who know or come in contact of him sooner or later find a kind of respect within self for him not just because of literary works of Sunder Agnani but just because of his polite and helping nature.
One can say that Sunder Agnani is an all-rounder from the field of Sindhi language and literature. Though in the field of Sindhi Drama and in the capacity of Organiser he is miles and miles ahead of other but still holds a very good command over Short Story writing [about 375], Creating Cartoons and Acting [Drama Artist]. Sunder Agnani is also looked as a great promoter and preserver of the Sindhi language and literature as he had worked as
Vice-Chairman and Chairman of Rajasthan Sindhi Academy [1988-1990]
President of Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli Ain Sahit Sabha [Since 1997]
Adviser (Sindhi) Central Sahit Akademi [Two terms 1988-1992 & 1998-2002]
And at every post he succeeded in creating impression of his own style of functioning. This is he under whose guidance Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli Ain Sahit Sabha. Apex organization of Sindhi writers, artists, dramatists, scholars and journalist has started to pay equal importance to cultural events to that of literary activities and went on creating a bond between literary personalities and common Sindhi citizens of India.
In 1964 When All India Sindhi Drama Festival was held at Kolkata his Drama – Ishtahari Shaadi – was judged as the second-best Sindhi Drama. In the Sindhi literary world Sunder Agnani, Lachman Bhambhani and Vasudev Sindhu Bharati are famous as Jaipur Trio of Sindhi literature.
In the mortal world of human beings a very few rare and blessed gets hints about the end of life journey and certainly Sunder Agnani was on list of those. He came back to Jaipur his own residence a few days back from Son living at New Delhi . On 11 April 2023 at Jaipur he respires last and his funeral was done on 12 April.

Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution in Dramatic field by Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli & Ain Sahit Sabha.
Award for book “Pani-a Ja Rishta” by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Drama “Ishtahari Shaadi” was chosen as 2 best Drama at All India Sindhi Drama Festival held at Calcutta (1964).
2018 Sami Award from Rajasthan Sindhi Akademi
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
