Satguru Swami Haridasram
Introductory
Forth Satguru of Prem Prakash Panth Swami Haridasram Ji were born in year 1930, as the son of Mata Moeta Bai and Shri Hiranand living in small village Hindan in Sindh. Moeta Bai was Sister of Satguru Swami Sarvanand Ji so there was atmosphere of serving the saints at home and due to frequent visits of Sant Mahatma and Sadhu air always remained filled with Bhajan – devotional songs and religious talks. Naturally Swami Haridasram Ji, who were known as Lalchand at that time. Grow up in an atmosphere of faith in God.
Swami Haridasram - Biography
Swami ji were sent to school for formal education. Now this became normal daily routine of Lalchand to learn Sindhi, Hindi, Gurmukhi language and other subjects at school and spending time with visiting Saints. In this atmosphere even he himself not know when he started composing Bhajans. As Lalchand grow in years he started spending more time in reading Holly scripts like Guru Granth Sahib and spending more time for Bhajan composition. Atmosphere at home was filled with Sanctity and harmony and this was encouraging Lalchand for spending more time.
Satguru Swami Sarvanand ji also started to take him to tours of Satguru Swami Teoonram Ji. In the shorter span of time Lalchand has shown tremendous growth on the path of spirituality and divinity, this happens effortless because two great master were guiding him by own behaviour. By the time he completed his teen age, Lalchand reached to conclusion that his life purpose is not a routine life of human beings but it is something different. At the age of 21 years Lalchand expressed desire of quitting normal life by taking Sannyasa – renouncing the world and dedicating life for finding life aim and meaning of birth. Swami Sarvanand Ji accepted being his master.
This is normal routine of Prem Prakash Pant, of having Sant Mandali for visiting various places to preach devotees of the Panth. Lalchand by this time has become famous as Haridasram. In the 1975 Swami Sarvanand along with Sant Mandali of Sant Hardas, Sant Arjandas and Sant Manoharlal went on tour of Spain. At Las Palmas all of them were received with great affection, love and devotion. This was a wonderful experience.
In the 1977 Satguru Swami Sarvanand Ji left for the heavenly abode and Swami Shanti Prakash ji were sworn in. Satguru Swami Shanti Prakash Ji were taking care of expansion of their Ulhasnagar Prem Prakash Ashram so the responsibility of Jaipur Ashram and Amrapur Asthan is given to Swami Haridasram Ji. On the 15th August 1992 Swami Shanti Prakash Ji Maharaj left the physical world and the entire Sant Mandali of Prem Prakash Panth agree to name of Swami Haridasram Ji for the next Satguru of the Panth and accordingly Swami took charge on 30th August 1992.
Satguru Swami Haridasram Ji not only wrote biography of their master Swami Sarvanand Ji but for encouraging common people for meditation and progressing on path of spirituality kept visiting various places not only in India but abroad also. Word Satnam Sakshi become more popular and often pronounced during their visits. Swami ji visited prominently Spain, Pakistan, Hong Kong, United Estates and South America etc. and during one such visit on 26th August 2000 at Lanzarote Island (Spain) left the world for heavenly abode.
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
