Vandana Nirankari born and brought up at small city like Gandhinagar Kolhapur is the Sindhi Singer who had brought new horizons for traditional Sindhi Songs with her melodious heart touching soft silky voice.
Born in the family of renowned Nirankari Mahatma Shri Bhagwandas Tekchand Nirankari, her grandfather is a famous preacher and Singer of Nirankari philosophy of life, Vandana has found natural attraction towards from early childhood as she was very close to her grandfather. This was the Gandhinagar High School and Nirankari Bhavan Gandhinagar where her talent got first stage for public singing.
With time she started to get more and more opportunities to explore and sharpen her singing skills and by the time she gets schooling completed she has earned fame of new Sindhi Singing sensation. Today she is not only performing at various stages but has started to give a new style to traditional Sufi, Devotional and folk music a foundation stone of Sindhi Culture.
This might be the effect of lessons of world humanity learned by her during school days at Gandhinagar Kolhapur and religious atmosphere at home that Vandana has shaped as strong believer of Talent belongs to entire world and should be used only to bring a smile of happiness and enjoyment on face of every human being.
Born on 12 February as the daughter of Sunita and Amrit Nirankari, Vandana has great opportunity ahead to match with popularity of Bhagwanti Navani. This is said that even during early childhood days she was fond of listing Sufi Kalam and this has helped her to develop a perfect style of singing.
Vandana has presented her singing shows not only in India but in various other countries also. Among her music albums Nirankari Songs is most popular while Sindhi Song Sik Mein and Sindhi Abani Boli sung by her are most appreciated songs.
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
