Born on 15 August 1971 at Ajmer Rajasthan as the daughter of Shri Ramchand Sadarangani, Dr. Vimmi Sadarangani is one of the finest illustrations for the multi-dimensional talent Sindhi women have in inheritance. Though at the most of times this remains hidden but Vimmi is fortunate that she not only got opportunities to explore and express this talent but also utilized every opportunity to provide moments of honors for the Sindhi women, especially in India.
Biography /About - Dr Vimmi Sadarangani
After completing M.A. in Sindhi, Hindi and Economics Vimmi went on add yet another feather to her educational crown by presenting her paper “Anuvaad ki samasyaaein: Hindi aur Sindhi ka paarasparik sandarbh” for the Ph.D. in Sindhi from Gujarat University in 2010.
Dr. Vimmi Sadarangani is working with TCAS Adipur since 1 August 1995 as an associate Professor in Sindhi Department. Vimmi besides being known as highly talent Sindhi poet is also one of the best Resource Person on Sindhi language & literature. She has credit of presenting more than 50 papers at various seminars and conferences conducted by eminent Sindhi institutions and organizations. “Role of Sindhi Women in preserving Sindhi Culture” is one of her popular research papers.
Vimmi Sadarangani went to Singapore and Hong Kong in the year 1995 as a faculty for Sindhi Culture Course. He has been invited by University of Illinois (US) for Sindhi course and was part of first delegation of Sindhi writers visited Sindh.

Vimmi Sadarangani has been felicitated at number of occasions by various institutions including Gujarat State Sindhi Sahitya Akademi [1996 for book “MukhriyooN”] and 2002 [for book “Mummy, iyen chho aahe?”]. Some other such occasions are:
1998: NCERT
2001: “Narayan Shyam Award” for best young Sindhi writer.
During 2003-2008 he was honored by Sindhi Academy, Govt of Delhi and Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli ain Sahit Sabha
In the 2009 National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (Min. of HRD, Govt. of India) has presented Special Appreciation Memento to her.
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
