Hari Dilgir was the person who was renowned for Spontaneous flow of his expressions and depth of meaning in simple and sweet words. In the world of Sindhi literature Hari Dilgir was always looked as a poet of hope and a stubborn optimism. Probably this was his optimism which might has inspired him for writing Children poems in Sindhi because he was aware that today who are kids, tomorrow going to be preserver and promoter of Sindhi language and Sindhi literature. Even though this is quite uncommon for a person from literary field but sense of Social responsibilities has force to Hari Daryani to involve with local politics and in 1965 he worked as – President, Gandhidham Municipality.

Biography / About - Hari Gurudinomal Daryani
1979 Sindhi Sahit Academy Award for Sindhi Language Awardee, famous Sindhi poet Hari Dilgir, was born on 15 June 1916 at Larkana Sindh as the son of Shri Gurudinomal Daryani. In the world of Sindhi literature Hari Gurudinomal Daryani [Pen name: Hari Dilgir] is known as the perfectionist.
In the early days of his literary life, he spent a lot of time with Nawaz Ali Jaffery ‘Niyaz’ for learning the poetic expressions so that he can establish a better communication link with audience. Being unsatisfied with his progress he went to great Sindhi poet Kishanchand “Bewas” for more deep guidance for the perfect expressions. This not only helped him in being the master of flow of expressions but also helped him in developing positive attitude. As the result of all this in very short span of time he become a poet with ability of expressing each and every issue in a spontaneous poetic expression webbed from the simple words.
After the partition of the country in 1947, Hari Dilgir moved to India and has chosen Adipur Gandhidham as his home and work land. Hari was a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and was appointed as the Principal of Tolani Polytechnic Collage, Adipur. He also worked as the Chairman of Sindhi Sahitya Academy, Gujarat.
His perfectionist nature gets expression with his involvement with society as in those days’ city of in the developmental phase hence he started to make it point that there must be share of him in the process. He went on to hold the post of President of Gandhidham Municipality in the year1965. He also become active with Rotary Club of Gandhidham and in the capacity of President has helped a lot to migrant Sindhis looking to resettle in the city. In the year 2004 on 11 April, at the age of 88 years he left the physical world.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
