Mukesh Jagtiani who is well known by his popular name Micky Jagtiani is an Indian born young Sindhi Entrepreneur who is presently based at Dubai UAE and on the Forbes list of world billionaires [ranked 291 in April 2015] is the founder of Landmark retail stores group. He is 16th richest Indian with a net worth of USD 2 billion.
Jagtiani is an entrepreneur in the sense that he is college dropout and once was a taxi driver at London. Mukesh Jagtiani, born on 15 August 1952 in India and has schooling at Madras, Mumbai and Beirut. Before being college dropout, he was student of an accounting school.
Family situations have forced him to move Bahrain for taking charge of baby products shop of his deceased relative; this was his first individual step in the world of business and commerce. He went on establish his first company dealing into products and service in the various fields such as leisure, food, hotels and electronics he created his own network for the logistics and distribution.
Micky Jagtiani is the chairman, Landmark International, a corporate house dealing in retail and based at Dubai. He had also started e-tailing on his company’s website. Presently retail chain of Landmark International is consists of more than 1,000 stores in Middle East, Africa and India.
Mukesh Jagtiani is married with Renuka, she not just takes care of his personal and family life but also assists him in smooth operation of his retail empire. Presently Landmark group is providing employment to over 45,000 people; the number is likely to expand in very near future as Renuka has keen interest in hotels, fitness gyms and confectionery. Future plans of Mukesh Jagtiani include his business expansion from Gulf to China.
Even being busy with his business commitments Mukesh Jagtiani is always aware of his social responsibilities. In the year 2000 he came out with establishment of “LIFE” Landmark International Foundation of Empowerment for the improvement in the life and support underprivileged children in India. This Chennai based institution is running many programs such as vocational and non-formal schools, school and healthcare, and community clinics and medical camps for slum-dwellers besides running an old age home.
Mukesh and Renuka are blessed with two daughters and one son and living happily. On the 26 May 2023 he left the world for heavenly abode.

Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
