When we look at life of Shrichand Kriplani born on 18 July 1958 at Nimbahera, a small township of Chittorgarh district in common Sindhi family. He went on to win Vidhan Sabha Elections once, Lok Sabha twice and has worked as Minister in Rajasthan Government. He has proved almost twenty years before what Prime Minister is saying today. Being a Sindh, team TSW feels proud that a Sindhi has proved once again that even the political horizon is not beyond the success reach of Sindhis.
Biography: Shrichand Kriplani
Shrichand Kriplani a young Sindhi from small town of Nimbahera of Chittorgarh District of Rajasthan has brought moment of pleasure and pride for the all the citizens of district and Sindhi community spread throughout the country on 10 December 2016 when he took oath as cabinet Minister of Rajasthan Government lead by Vasundhara Raje.
Shrichand Kriplani is the only Second politician from the Chittorgarh district who becomes minister in the state government. At Present [December 2016] after Shri Vasudev Devnani [State Minister for Education – Independent Charge] Shrichand Kriplani is the second Sindhi Politician in the Vasundhara Raje Cabinet.
Born on the 18 July 1958 [as per Lok Sabha Member Bio Profile] at Nimbahera Shrichand has completed his Graduation from the Government College Chittorgarh. He learned a lot about the religion and humanity from mother Paravati Devi whereas father Chetrumal a renowned Sindhi social worker has taught him practical lessons about social service, helping other and leading the masses. Results of this childhood education on his social and Political life are reflecting from the fact than even before reaching sixty which is considered as young age in politics of India, he has represented his home town thrice as Member of Legislative Assembly [MLA] of Rajasthan State and twice as Member of Lok Sabha [MP].
Political Career of Shrichand Kriplani
His political career was started nearly forty years back in 1977 with the election of Student Union of Government College Chittorgarh with win as the President and in 1978 he becomes district President of Vidyarthi Parishad of BJP. After acquiring B.A. Degree, he returned to home he not only got married with Kamal [4 May 1984 presently couple is blessed with Daughter Vinita and Son Vinit] but also started transport business with active participation in Social Service. He started helping to Shri Sewa Sansthan in the various projects such as free distribution of food at hospital, Eye operation camps and establishing elderly homes. He is Guardian of Rashtriya Sindhi Samaj.
Year 1982 when he was elected as Parshad of Nimbahera Nagrpalika and 1985 when he was holding election campaigning charge of Shri Bherosingh Shekhavat [Who become Vice President of India in years to come] fighting MLA election from Nimbahera. In the year 1989 he was BJP candidate from Nimbahera Vidhan Sabha and was elected with good margin of votes. In the year 1999 he was elected as MP to represent Chittorgarh in the 13th Lok Sabha.
Shrichand Kriplani has also visited various countries such as Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, U.K. and U.S.A. to learn modern agricultural technologies used there.
In the Mewad area Shrichand Kriplani also famous for the Pad Yatra. In 1998 he went on the Pad Yatra of 39 KM from Amba Mata Mandir Nimbahera to Shri Sanvalia Dham for boon of good rain in the District and in 1999 with prayer of Victory in Kargil War from Shri Radhakrishna Mandir Nimbahera to Kalika Mata Mandir – a distance of 37 KM.
Recently [July 2018] Bandra Jaipur Aravalli express train is renamed as Amrapur Aravalli Express and Shrichand Kriplani has taken keen interest and series of correspondences with Railway ministry. This is essential to mention that Jaipur is the city where Amrapur Asthan of Prem Prakash Panth, religious stream of Sindhi community is constructed by Satguru Swami Sarvanand Ji Maharaja after partition of the country.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
