About Life of Govinda
Govinda or Govind Ahuja is yet another illustration of Sindhi attitude of feeling restless till reach to top. Sindhi Film actor Govinda, introduced to silver screen of Bollywood Hindi film Ilzam in the year 1986 [though his first signed film was Tan-Badan opposite Khushboo]. In this debut film Govinda portraits character of young dancing boy, this character was also including shades of action. This film was also matching with aspirations of Govinda as he was highly impressed with Disco Dancer, a film of Mithun Chakraborty. The success of film has announced emerge of new dancing action Star Govinda. In next few films like Love 86, Hatya, Jeete Hain Shaan Se, and Hum [With two super stars Amitabh Bachchan & Rajnikant] Govinda played roles of similar nature.
Best of talent of Govinda was exposed in the No.1 Series films and other films started to release since 1990s.The first of lot is 1992 released Shola Aur Shabnam here Govinda was in role of young NCC cadet, the character he played has shown colours of romance and comedy. Govinda has worked with almost all stars of Bollywood during his career of more than 30 years but his on screen chemistry with Shakti Kapoor and Kadar Khan is amazing. Govinda and Shakti Kapoor appeared in 42 films, Govinda and Kadar Khan in 41 films and there are as many as 22 films in those all three of this mesmerising trio has appeared together. On the front of co -star heroin’s Govinda have 10 hit films with Karishma Kapoor. Govind also appeared with famous comedian Johnny Lever [22 Films] and Director Satish Kaushik [14 films] who often played comic role. Singer Udit Narayan has play backed for more than 100 songs [highest by him than for any other hero] picturised on Govinda. In 2004 Govinda joined Congress party and become elected Member of Parliament [2004-2009]. He won the 14th Lok Sabha election as a candidate from Mumbai North constituency with victory margin of more than fifty thousand votes. Significance of victory of Govinda gets enhanced as he defeated, defending member and stalwart Ram Naik of the Bhartiya Janata Party. Like Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda soon realized that politics is not s suitable field for him so he decided to get side lined from politics.
Govinda Personal Life
Govinda is born in Sindhi Punjabi family as son of Nirmala Devi [Singer – Actresses] and Arun Kumar Ahuja [actor 1939-1954] on 21 December 1963 at Virar, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Govinda is youngest 6th child to his parents so at home he was called as Chichi [smallest finger] which also becomes his nick name in film industry. Virar Ka Chhora is another famous nick name of Govinda, as due to financial crises his parents were forced to leave Carter Road bungalow and move to Virar, where Govinda was born and was living till his first released film.
After getting Bachelor of Commerce degree from Vartak College, Vasai Govinda was suggested by father for a career in film industry. He himself was also impressed with Mithun’s film Dsco Dancer. At that time Govinda have a job offer in Fertilizer commercial and role of Abhimanyu in the mythological serial Mahabharat, which become most popular and biggest hit TV serial. He even went for auditions for this role but as meanwhile he got first lead role in Bollywood.
Govinda got married with Sunita on 11 March 1987. Couples have two children, daughter Tina Ahuja [debut film Second Hand Husband Second Hand Husband 2015] and son Yashvardhan Ahuja. If we look at family of Govinda this appears that this is a filmy family. His brother Kirti Kumar [producer, director, actor & singer], sister Kaamini Khanna [singer, writer & music director] and actors Vinay Anand, Krishna Abhishek, Aryan, Arjun Singh, Ragini Khanna, Amit Khanna and Aarti Singh [all are nephews of Govinda] are active with film and entertainment industry of Mumbai.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
