Recently appointed as Sindhi language interpreter for Rajya Sabha, upper house of Indian Parliament, Chanda is born and brought up at Raipur in Chhattisgarh state. She left schooling after Graduation and was married with Namdev Makhija residence of yet another metro city Bilaspur of Chhattisgarh. The couple is blessed with 1 son and 3 daughters.
This is unfortunate that her husband left the physical world at the early childhood age of children. This was massive shock but she has taken as opportunity given by God to test her courage and patience. Chanda Makhija started working as Professional Accountant and keeping her self-engaged with social work. Chanda Makhija is associated with Pujya Sindhi Central Panchayat Bilaspur and State level office of Bhartiya Sindhu Sabha. Chanda Makhija’s social works are concentrated to the field of women empowerment and activities associated with children. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
