This might be the writing on the wall that born on 5 April 1969 at Ajmer, famous Sindhi Singer Geeta Khanwani is titled as the Fusion Queen by the Sindhi music lovers. As Geeta was born at Ajmer famous city for fusion of different religions and culture. hence destiny indicated about her popularity as the Fusion Queen. Child hood passion of Singing of Geeta was stopped after her marriage and her second inning of singing started almost after 25 years of married life. The word fusion associated with her birth city is distinctly visible in singing of Geeta Khanwani, multi lingual and multi genre Sindhi Singer as her voice is equally most suitable for traditional and popular sindhi lyrics.

Biography and Career
The word Second inning is often referred for the old age persons, who starts new phase of life after stopping active participation in routine day to day life activities but when this word Second inning gets adhered with multi genre Sindhi Singer Geeta Khanwani, it appears to be sounding in total contrast way of the routine meaning as with Geeta the word second inning means a fresh and new start of her singing career and a new charming hectic and Sindhiyat dedicated life.
Geeta Khanwani, the born Sindhi singer, as she started singing at the age of six year, at which most of human beings start schooling and learning how to talk with other. She kept on singing till her college education was completed and She got married with a sindhi businessmen Shri Khemchand Khanwani in 1987. As her husband’s business arena is Oman so she shifted there and still living at Oman. The couple is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
Geeta was born as the seventh children (out of ten) of her parents, father Dulhanomal and mother Laxmidevi at Ajmer, Rajasthan. She started singing and schooling almost at the same time. She was fortunate to have guidance from the Dholan Rahi, multi skilled personality of Sindhi Literature and Sindhi Music. During her first inning of Singing as School/ College singing and Radio singer was terminated after her marriage and shifting to Oman. During this phase of singing, she won many awards and impressed every one with her soft healing voice.
It is often said is that first love is unforgettable because usually first love turns into passion and actually this is passion which is our life time memory. Same thing happened with Geeta; she forgets about singing for the sack of post marriage responsibilities but as singing was not her just love but is passion so she returned to singing arena after a gap of almost 25 years. Off course She started her second inning of singing not with mother tongue Sindhi but with country’s national language Hindi. She came with two albums of Hindi Devotional songs namely – Baba Se Dil Lagaya and Baba Tera Upkar both dedicated to teachings of Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya and become famous as Om Shanti Bhajans.
Singing flow started once again and she came with three different Sindhi song albums – 01. Jhollan Ji Dhamal 02. Suhni Saugaat and 03. Nach Re Sindhi with thirty-three melodious sindhi songs included with equal distribution in these three albums.
After the success of these Sindhi songs Geeta never looked back and marched ahead to set new success horizons for all the Sindhi singers. At present she has credit of releasing nearly sixty albums and she presented her singing concerts almost every part of world having Sindhi population. Some of her albums are listed below (not in chronological order). During her very impressing and successful singing career Geeta has sung and presented many programs with imminent personalities of Sindhi Music world like Parmanand Pyasi, Jagdish Lalwani, Ramesh Nankani and many more.
This might be the Kalam of Bhagat Kanwarram Sahib Nale Alakh Je or the Kawali Saare Jag Jo Shaan Sindhi and even the most popular format of Sindhi songs Lada – marriage ritual songs, Geeta has shown equally authentic and authoritative voice for all types of Sindhi lyrical compositions and hence beside being famous as Fusion Queen she is also know as Singer of all genre of Sindhi poetry.
One thing which almost every Sindhi who came in contact of Geeta Khanwani or attended any of her program has experienced the polite, humble and Sindhiyat enriched behavior of her and become stick to opinion of She being very good human being and true devotee of Sindhi deity Lord Jhulelal.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
