This role of Jailer was performed by a sindhi actor Govardhan Asrani who still believe in the seriousness of comedy for the peaceful and cheerful life. In the Bollywood films Asrani is only third actor in comic role after legendry Johnny Walker and Mahmud for whom success brought many films which were scripted only considering Asrani as in the lead role of the film.

Govardhan Asrani or the person more renowned as Asrani was born in the Royal Rajasthan on the New year day of year 1941 at the princely place Jaipur and went to become recognized as the undisputed king of Comic roles in Hindi movies for more than two decades.
His Bollywood career is older than 40 years and has acted in more than 350 Hindi and Gujarati Films, off course most of times as a supporting artist with the role enriched with touches of comedy.
A few years backs he also become active with politics as during the 2004 elections he campaigned for Congress party at Mumbai during the Lok Sabha elections.
Film world came to know about the yet another color of this multi-talented performer when he sung two songs, picturised on him in the film Alaap released in the year 1977 and went on sing a duet with most popular singer Kishore Kumar for the Film Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan in the year followed.

During his illustrated long career Asrani was not only appreciated for the work attitude, dedication and various roles performed by him but also awarded with many awards and was felicitated by endless institutions. Some of most significant awards of his life are inclusive of 1973 and 1976 Film Fare Award for the Best Comedian for the performance in the films Aaj Ki Taza Khabar [ recent film “Golmal Returned” is based on same central story line] and Balika Bbadhu respectively.
Gujarat state government also felicitated him with award for Best Actor and Best Director for the Gujarati Film Saat Qaidi.
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
