This is not very long back that Indians specially Television watching women were not only talks much about the Virani family and eagerly waits for the telecast of next episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to learn what happened next. This was the popularity of this serial which hits television screen on 3 July 2000 and made history of being longest Soap Opera of Indian television with almost 2000 [to my knowledge 1833].
Young Sindhi Model Actor Hiten Tejwani born on 05 March 1974 at Goregaon a suburb of Mumbai as the son of Jethanand Bhojraj and Asha Tejwani, had played important role of Karan Virani [son of Mihir Virani] in this block buster show of Indian Television in which all important role of [Bahu] Tulsi Virani in this serial was played by actress & now BJP leader Smriti Irani.

Hiten has completed his academic studies as the student of Saint Francis D’Assisi High School and Jai Hind College. Though father was a cloth merchant and wanted him to join and progress with family [rather you can say traditional business of Sindhis] business but Hiten joined the Ankur Theatre Group, to learn basics essential for success in entertainment industry i.e., Film & Television industry at Bollywood Mumbai.
Hiten had worked as Model actor for many of commercial advertisements appeared on television screen including Closeup Renew, TVS, Scotty and Breeze soap. His acting career was started with “Ghar Ek Mandir” which was telecasted on Sony TV. His career graph elevated after joining the Balaji Telefilms, a famous television serial production house of Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. Hiten had also acted in Kutumb another popular serial of Balaji Telefilms.
During the shooting of Kutumb he falls in love of co-star Gauri Patwardhan and got married on 29 April 2004. Though it is said that, even before this Hiten was married, an arranged marriage which lasted for only 11 months. Hiten & Gauri become parents of twins’ daughter Katya and son Nevaan in 2009.
Besides the television serials Hiten also acted in the films like Krishna Cottage, Joggers Park and Anwar but none of these proved a good business generator at box office collection. Hiten kept on working with serials, where he was holding Star Status. He went on win prestigious Indian Television Academy Award twice in 2005 and 2010 besides some others.
Even though Hiten is earning quite handsomely from his career as professional actor model but still he owns a restaurant named Barcode O53 and looking forward to career with Hindi films. According to DNA reports he is shooting for Film, Tere Aane Se, which might be released in 2016. Hiten is working in “Ganga” which is on air with &TV.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
