This might be not known to most of Sindhi music lovers that her crying at the age of just three months came with prediction – She will become a singer by her grandfather.
Biography /About - Kajal Chandiramani
Kajal Chandiramani, is born as the daughter of Saroj and Kishin Kewalramani at Ahmedabad on 13 November 1965. Saroj is daughter of great Prof Ram Panjwani so Kajal is born with legacy of Music. Kajal Chandiramani, the versatile Sindhi singer started learning classical music when she was about 8 years this happens because at the age of three months she was crying and listening to her crying her grandfather said her mother, this girl is going to be a Singer.
After a few years of learning classical music and getting formal school educations at Mount Carmel High School, Ahmedabad, Kajal has given audition for all India radio in which she was not just selected but ranked at much higher level of singing perfection. At that she was around 13 years and experts were surprised to listen her singing even Sufi Kalams with perfection.
This was a Ram Panjwani Night at Birla Auditorium, a two days concert, when world came to know about her singing ability and classical voice. Her mother helped her to prepare two kalams, one was written by legendry Sindhi poet Shah Latif and related with story of Umar Marvi. On the first day when she sung this on stage, not only Prof. Ram Panjwani broke out in tears but next days newspapers heading was a Sindhi singing star is born in the family of Ram Panjwani.
In 1996 All India Radio – Aakashwani has sent Kajal to participated in television singing show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and she emerge as the winner. Till date probably she is the only Sindhi Singer who had won a television singing show. After this success going against the set trend of making a career with Bollywood music industry Kajal preferred to continue with Sindhi singing because she believes that nothing is more important than own language. A community is identified by the language and as she is born in Sindhi community so it is her duty to see that Sindhi culture and Sindhi language must be enriched with her contribution.
This is the singing caliber and expectational voice quality, immense control on musical notes of Kajal that Hazoori Roop Sai Sadhram Sahib invited her to Sindh. In an interview Kajal has said nothing is more memorable than singing Nale Alakh Je at samadhi of Bhagat Kanwarram sahib at Rhadaki.
She is married with Mumbai based Mahesh Chandiramani and still serving the Sindhi language and Sindhi music with her singing concerts and music albums. A few popular Sindhi song albums of Kajal Chandiramani are

Her dream is to be part of a Sindhi song which not only every Sindhi across the world should sung but the song must force even to non Sindhis should be forced to dance on this song and for this she is looking at younger generations of Sindhi musicians and lyricist to come forward with such magical composition.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
