Nikkhil Advani, film production, Direction and Screen Play writing are his professional work. He is more famous for and devotes time for his work for Save Tiger project just because it shows the awareness of Sindhi youth towards the environment. Nikkhil has proved with his talent with his first film Kal Ho Na Ho, which brought Guild Award for Best Debut Director for him.

Nikkhil Advani born on 28 April 1971 is the best illustration of young Sindhi talent and true expression for the characteristic Sindhi quality of working hard for achieving desired Goal. Nikkhil, an ideal and Icon of Sindhi youth, was born as the son of Shri Suresh Advani a well-known name from the Pharmaceutical business.
After completing school education at Green Lawns High School, Breach Candy, Mumbai Nikkhil went on to be Masters in Chemistry as the student of St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Bollywood was not the initial professional work land for the Nikkhil as he was more interested with Science. This might be the influence of Maharshtrian Mother working in the advertising field or may be the family inheritance as Nikkhil is grandnephew of well-known bollywood film producer N. N. Sippy and second cousin of actor Tushhar Kapoor and producer Ekta Kapoor that all of sudden in 1996 he decided to work with Sudhir Mishra for film “Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin” as assistance director and co-writer of screen play.
Nikkhil Advani is happily married with his college mat Suparna Gupta and both are blessed with a daughter Keya. Nikkhil is also active on social fronts, while being on the advisory board of ”Save The Tiger”, he worked with famous ecologist Bittu Sehgal.
Nikkhil Advani and Dharma Production
Afterwards he joined Dharma Production and worked with Karan Johar as assistance director for his two block buster films “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”. In the year 2003 he was presented with opportunity of being the Director of film “Kal Ho Na Ho” produced by Dharma Production with star cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ai Khan, Priety Zinta and Jaya Bachchan. It was the best film at box office during the year and was nominated in many categories for prestigious Film Fare Award; Film went on to win 6 Film Fare Awards but unfortunately Nikkhil was not among the award winner in the capacity of Director.
His next film “Salaam-e-Ishq” released in 2007 was produced by Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja and Chetan Motiwalla. Besides being the Director, story of the film was also written by him. Film fails to hit box office according to hopes. Even after the huge star cast of Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sohail Khan, Vidya Balan, John Abraham, Akshaye Khanna, Govinda, Juhi Chawla, Anil Kapoor, Ayesha Takia, Shannon Esra and Anjana Sukhani film did average business.
Nikkhil’s first film with Akshaykumar “Chandni Chowk to China” released in 2009 was considered flop at the box office where as “Patiala House” released in 2011 with Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Anushka Sharma done average business.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
