Biography: Niranjan Hiranandani
Niranjan Hiranandani was born on 08 March 1950 at Mumbai, as the son of Lakhumal Hiranand and Kanta Hiranandani. Father Padma Bhushan Dr. L H Hiranandani was famous ENT surgeon of Mumbai and was shifted to Mumbai in 1942 well ahead of the partition of the country so he and his family not faced the pains and troubles which thousands of Sindhi families were forced to face during the migration to India in 1947. Father Dr. L H Hiranandani was very much active with rehabilitation and resettlement of these homeless Sindhi migrants. This helped Niranjan to develop helping attitude and work for the community, which reflects from his present activeness with many social institutions, schools, and colleges.
Niranjan went Campion School, Mumbai for his schooling and went on to become Graduate of Commerce from Sydenham College Mumbai. He started his professional life as the account teacher after he had completed FCA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It was 1981 when he thought of entering business arena and started a small textile weaving unit at Mumbai suburb Kandivali. The journey of present was started way back in 1985 when Niranjan with Brother Surendra Hiranandani purchased land measuring about 200 acres at Pawai suburb of Mumbai and started real estate business with title Hiranandani Gardens.
Niranjan Hiranandani is co-founder and managing director of Hiranandani Group, involved with real estate business in India. Energy efficient structure, architectural designs and balance between the practicalities of architect, finance and market demands are the some of the focused key point which brought huge success for the Hiranandani’s.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
