About Rajkumar Hirani
Nagpur is in the Maharashtra and regional language is Marathi but being part of central provision and in the close touch of Hindi speaking Madhya Pradesh, Nagpur has a great tradition of Hindi theater. Young Raju Hirani found attraction for this and becoming active with Hindi theater during his student days. After completing his graduation at Nagpur Rajkumar headed to Pune for the Film & Television Institute of India, from where he completed his Diploma in cinema with specialization in editing in the year 1987.
Early days at Mumbai were the learning process for the Rajkumar Hirani but soon he succeeded in establishing self as a director and producer of advertising films, though he started his carrier as editor. All the major Indian brands were advertised by him and he started his own production house Canvas Films.
In the industry Raj Hirani gained fame of being a director at whom one can look for variety – advertising, documentaries, public service, spots, TV serials and music videos are the few grounds which can tell the success story of this young sindhi talent. Generally, human interest subjects have attracted him most for capturing the humour in a situation or the warmth of a moment. Getting his actors to give off their best and drawing out just that extra from them which goes straight to the audience’s heart is what he really enjoys.
During the editing of “Mission Kashmir” he came in the close contact of Vidhu Vinod Chopara. This association went on to turn into close friendship. During the Zee Cine Awards Rajkumar Hirani was Felicitated with the award for the “best editor” of the year, eventually during this function Raju and Vinod had finalized their new film.

Raju Hirani was aware of the fact that success history of Hindi films, all the success mile stones are revolving around the character. Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopara went on to give such another character to Hindi Films, on screen performed by “Sanjay Datta” bole to “Munna Bhai” in their Film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and its sequel “Munna Bhai Lage Raho”. The success of “Lage Raho” can be underlined as social upliftment because this film has brought the thoughts and life style of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation, in the life of Indian Youth. The Duo bagged many awards for these Films and almost at all the Awards functions were felicitated for either of Best Film, Best Director, Best Script and Best editor and actor in Best comic role etc.
In the year 2010 Rajkumar Hirani’s Film 3 Idiots bagged prestigious Film Fare Award in six categories.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
