Sindhi Comedian of serious humour in Bollywood Hindi Films
One might notice it or not, because number of Sindhi people in Bollywood is quite high but the fact is that every Sindhi success in Hindi films is different from other. If Ramesh Sippy produce films matching to popular Choice, Raju Hirani put stress on presence of special character in the film, Late Ravi Vaswani was famous for fabulous comic timing and underplaying the character. This was the reason which made Ravi Vaswani a Famous Comedian and brought Best Comedian Film Fare Award to him for film Jane Bhi Do Yaaro.

This was the 1983 when Kundan Shah’s film “Jane Bhi Do Yaaro” was making the records on the box office and people came to know the real talent of one of versatile Sindhi actor Ravi Vaswani, though Film critics have started noticing Ravi’s from his very first film Chashme Buddoor in 1981.
Student of Trent University in Ontario, Canada, Ravi Vaswani was born on 29 September 1946 and was famous for his comic timing and underplaying the character.
Before the inclusion of Ravi to film fraternity of India, Sindhi representation in Bollywood was considered as investor and lead role performer he has presented yet another horizon of Sindhi talent with serious acting as comedian.
Ravi Vaswani started his film carrier with 1981 release “Chashme Badoor” , the film which established him as one of best comedian of the Hindi film industry. Most of the popular and famous Directors of the Bollywood were highly impressed with fabulous comic timing of this new Sindhi actor.
In long illustrated work in Bollywood [1981 to 2010] Ravi Vaswani remained as simple as he was at the time of debut. He had got no addiction or bad habits such as smoking or drinking even after this long association with glamorous world.
Ravi also went on to Direct TV Serial Panchhi of Sudesh Sayal.
Many of his co-artists and Actor, Directors of Hindi Film industry were surprised with news of Ravi Vaswani died of a massive heart attack on 27 July 2010 at Haldwani while returning to Delhi from his Favorite hill station Nainital.

Ravi Vaswani went on to receive the prestigious Film Fare Award in the 1984 for Best Comedian for the Film “Jane Bhi Do Yaaro” which is considered as the mile stone achievement of this very popular actor.

Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
