Sapna Bhavnani, a sindhi woman from Bandra, Mumbai was silently busy with creative job of generating style Icon hair styles for her celebrity clientele which includes names likes Mandira Bedi, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Siddharth Malaya and John Abraham and have seen more the forty winter of life without the lime light being focused on her.
When Sapna appeared on sets of Bigg Boss 6, very few were knowing about her but Sapna which in English means dream behave like that from day one viewers feels her presence, stylish and remarkably photogenic look and devil-may-care attitude of Sapna Bhavnani. Locking at her for first time I thought of she being fashion model, rock star or Tarantino muse but Salman Khan, host of the show introduced her as glorified barber and owner of Mad-o-Wat Salon at Carter Road in Bandra Mumbai.
Sapna Bhavani till 2012, in her 41 years old life has married and divorced twice, still she is the important member of Urban society of Mumbai. Sapna’s business place Mad-o-Wat Salon is as good as the second home for many actors and actress from Hindi Film & Television industry the list is inclusive of some of popular names like Sameera and Sushma Reddy, Dino Morea, Keona Mitra and Bipasha Basu.
Beside running the business Sapna also has publish a book called “Style-o-wot,” produce and star in a music video, she also acted in Hindi films like

Sapna Bhavnani – Early Life
Sapna was born on 5 January 1971 at Bandra, western suburb of Mumbai, her father was having a Chinese restaurant so family was with sufficient and good source of income. Sapna has completed her schooling at local but good school.
During the school day she was famous for her behaviour like a wild tomboy and in the younger age her tattoo proved the source of inspiration for the creative artists. When he was of 18 her father died and family was forced to face financial crises. Sapna decided to drop out her studies and to shift to Chicago in 1989, here her Indo- American aunt proved a timely help. Sapna started working as waitress at an Italian restaurant and some other similar job besides that she started her studies. She completed her graduation from Barat College Chicago with Marketing and Communication as the major and Public Speaking as the minor subject.
In the 2002 Sapna was back in India and looking at the wait of one of school mate she decides to settle down at Mumbai, though this relationship didn’t lose for long but in 2004 Sapna has started her first hair salon, called Mad-O-Wot, at Carter Road and started its branch at Andheri in 2011. Besides the reality show Bigg Boss 6 Sapna is also known for her contribution to the field of fashion, writing, photography and entertainment. She is also recipient of Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award.
In 2009 Sapna came with a book Style-O-Wot to make the teen age girls aware of the fashion, trends and style. In the 2011 with the names like designer Masaba Gupta and photographer Joy Dutta, she went on to organise a project “Kalingar” at Bandra. This project was about the hair style, fashion and photography. In the same year she also launched “So Fake” her own clothing line. In the 2013 she was in the news for “Ink not Mink – Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs” her one of commercial for PETA.
Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
