About Shrichand Sundrani
This is might be the only lacking of Sindhi community that community has failed or rather not succeeded in exploring political talent to desired extant but after the great L K Adwani and Ram Jethmalani, Sindhi youth political leaders like Shrichand Sundrani, Prof. Vasudev Devnani and Shrichand Kriplani is emerging as the Sun on the political horizon of Sindhi community.
Shrichand, born at 26 Nov 1957 as son of Shri Motumal Sundrani at Arvi [District Wardha] Maharashtra and MLA of Raipur North Chhattisgarh is an illustration for that how the Sindhi community has faced the adverse situation arises from the unwanted displacement of community from Sindh [mother land] to India in 1947.
Shrichand Sundrani, owner of agricultural land has also proved that this is not myth that when a Sindhi enters into field he is intended and bound to acquire the top position. Political journey of Shrichand started with his meeting with BJP leader Kushabhau Thakre in 1978 and recently crossed adolescent age sindhi youth has decided to be active with Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha. In very short span of time that is from 1980 to 1985 he was President of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha Raipur city during these days he leads an agitation for stoppage of local trains at Tilda and was arrested and got imprisonment of 13 days.

Besides being a successful, popular and beloved politician Shrichand Sundrani is also actively involved with Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pujya Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat, apex social institution of Sindhi community of state. To promote Chhattisgarh’s culture and art, he has produced many Chhattisgarh films, Audios and Videos. Pujya Chhattisgarh Sindhi Panchayat is not only bringing coordination among the various city Sindhi Panchayat of the state but also helping them to organise cultural and literary programmes to celebrate various sindhi occasions.

Famous and popular Sindhi folk singer Bhagwanti Navani is eventually immortal as she even after losing the physical existence still alive at hearts of thousands and thousands of Sindhi music lovers. Often called as Sindhi Koyel Bhagwanti was born on 01 Feb 1940 at Nasarpur. Undisputed queen of Singing Sindhi Lada (marriage ritual songs) Bhagwanti will always be remembered for singing Sukhamani Sahib (Guru Bani) in Sindhi. She also acted in Sindhi film Sindhua Je Kinare. On 22 Oct 1986 she left for heavenly abode.
